The Underbool Primary School Community acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country.  We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Cultures and to Elders past, present and emerging.

CURRICULUM – We have a varied curriculum at Underbool Primary, with a main focus on Literacy and Numeracy. We currently follow the Victorian Curriculum standards. Students have 1 to 1 access to computers within each classroom as well as a separate art room and well-resourced library.

Each year students take part in a two-week swimming program to improve their survival and stroke skills.  

SUNSMART – We are a Sunsmart School, therefore require broad brimmed hats year round. We have shade over the lunch area and shade sails to cover play equipment.

BARR School Underbool Primary School is on the Bushfire At Risk Register and as such is required to keep all vegetation cleared around the school. We are in the process of getting designs to upgrade our front garden with fire resistant plants. We are also including an outdoor classroom.

BUDDY SYSTEM – each year every student is allocated a Buddy to support during the year. Foundation students are buddied up with Senior students to ensure they have someone to go to and to feel safe and supported in their first year at school.
